Dark red, leaning toward purple, high centered, double bloom. Healthy bush, vigorous and hardy. Another of our favorites of the hardy Rudolf Geschwind-bred roses. Zone 5 and possibly more hardy. This rose has grown for several years on our climber fence in the stock garden area. It is worth a visit when the rose is blooming in mid-spring, quite beautiful.
