Huge, bright red single flowers on a fast-growing shrub rose with dark green glossy foliage. It is so striking we chose to make a hedge of it along the display garden. An unusual rose in the Hybrid Rugosa category, the leaves are smooth and shiny green. Some areas, where there is high humidity, experience blackspot. Dryer climates like Spokane do not have disease problems with this rose.
