Spokane Dahlia Festival

Welcome the changing season at the Dahlia Festival, September 19th and 20th from 10am-5pm. This is a joyful, family-friendly celebration of flowers, community, creativity, and learning - and is free to attend.

Explore amazing local vendors and discover something new around every corner - beautiful art, handmade treasures, food, beverages, and, of course, incredible local flower farmers.

Get inspired with our hands-on classes or settle in for our lineup of free speakers covering a variety of topics.

Come celebrate the beauty of late summer and enjoy a weekend filled with flowers and community at the Dahlia Festival.

    Dahlia Festival Saturday 9/19 Schedule

    Learn about the ins and outs of garden winterization. This talk will focus on decisions to make in the fall with perennials, roses, shrubs, and general winter care considerations.

    Learn all things Dahlia with Nicki from Tall Grass Farms. Come with all of your questions!

    Dahlia Festival Sunday 9/20 Schedule

    Dan will go into all of the ins and outs of growing dahlias from start to finish - including seed and dahlia hybridization.

    Kids Pick, Paint, and Pumpkin! Class

    Let your little artists get into the fall
    spirit! Kids can pick their very own pumpkin and let their creativity
    shine as they paint and decorate with fun, colorful designs and
    stencils.

    This is a fun activity for kids of all ages - join us at the Dahlia Festival for fall fun in the greenhouse!

      Creative Fall Pumpkin Class

      Celebrate fall with a creative twist! In this hands-on class, Kathy Hoob will guide you as you transform a pumpkin into a unique seasonal arrangement.

      No floral design experience is needed - just bring your creativity and enjoy the afternoon creating beautiful fall decor for your home. This class is a fall favorite!

        Flower Crown Class!

        This class is all about the magic of floral arrangement. You'll learn the basics of floral arranging while creating your very own beautiful, wearable flower crown! 

        With guidance along the way, you'll explore color, texture, balance, and flower placement as you design a crown inspired by the rich tones and natural beauty of in-season flowers. You'll finish the class with a one of a kind crown ready to enjoy at the festival and beyond!
