This unusual colored miniature rose is an American Rose Society Award of Excellence winner. Created by Tom Caruth the double bloom is a velvety dark purple with a white center accented by yellow stamens. Many miniature roses have a mild to non-existent fragrance but Diamond Eyes has a strong clove fragrance. The bush is compact and works well in the garden or in a pot.
