Josephine Clematis

Shop the Garden Center for this clematis when we open in April.  We do not ship our plants.

One of my long-time favorites, Clematis Josephine, is so full and blooms so enormous that it resembles a Dahlia. This large-flowered clematis is vigorous and blooms from mid-summer for several weeks. Deadhead this plant, and you may get more bloom. Great for crawling up a trellis and combing with roses or other garden shrubs. Give this plant good, rich soil to grow in, and be sure to plant where the roots can be shaded and the top of the plant in the sun.
