You may have observed this beauty on a green arch just as you enter the garden, and on a warm quiet afternoon, you will smell the strong fragrance of Jasmine. Yes, it is Betty wafting her fragrance across the garden. She is one of few clematis that does have fragrance. 

A soft purple bluebell with a yellow throat. This viticella clematis grows from hard pruning in the spring to 8 to 10 feet. Vigorous and bushy, prune to 12 inches in the early spring and she grows quickly to grab a trellis or climb among a shrub or up a tree.
